I have a iPhone SE and the battery life is terrible but I have no idea which iPhone to choose from because I keep getting told different things. I heard the iPhone 13 line has the best battery life and the iPhone 13 pro max being the best from the line but it's wayyyy to expensive for me ( I'm a college student on a budget)
But at home I can get 4 and 1/2 hours of SoT with about 75% left. just updated to ios 16.3.1 from 14.2 and boy oh boy, apple did a thing. battery goes down by 2-3% every 5 minutes. Battery performance can vary based on factors such as device usage, settings, installed apps, and battery health.
Awful! I came from an 11 pro and love the size. But even my 2 year old “82%” capacity 11 lasted much longer than this. With a better camera too. I’m averaging a loss of 70% over a 4 hour time span of very minimal use. I find myself always needing to charge and worrying about leaving the house for longer than an errand. I’m exchanging
I bought a 15 Pro Max coming from an 11 Pro Max. Battery life was stellar, just couldn’t take the size of it, I felt like my hand was cramping and I hated not being able to really use one handed. I exchanged it for a 15 Pro. The phone is very comfortable in the hand, if not a tad on the small side. Battery life has been a pretty big step down.
My friend had the same problem on his week old iPhone 15 Pro Max. No unusual settings nor activities yet the battery depletes to 25% 6 hours later. The phone is not unusually hot either. Out of desperation, he updated the phone to iOS 17.1 RC 2 and the problem disappeared. iOS 17.1 should be out any day now.
Context: I had a 12 pro for almost 3 years, battery life was decent enough to get me through a day usually. Towards the end not so much, got down to 77% battery health. My mom recently gave me her 13 pro max and I love the pro motion display and the insane battery life but it’s huge and I already have an ipad mini for content consumption.
On android everything runs in the background so unless you control it manually n choose which to run on background it will have bad battery life I use iphone 11 pro and oneplus 5 and honestly find the aggressive freezing of background apps on ios very annoying, but I understand it's a trade off for the battery life (especially on standby).
The battery health indicator is just a vague measurement. I’ve had an iPhone with 90% battery health that would only last 2-3 hours but I’ve also had an iPhone with 75% battery health that would last me almost the whole day. Before the battery change you should fully back up your data.
Hello, I’ve recently purchased an iPhone 14 Pro last week and having absolutely horrible battery life. For example even today, I’ve used Safari with 4G and got down to 86% from 100 in 30 minutes of screen time. I feel like even my old iPhone 12 with 91% battery health had better battery.
The iPhone 11 battery capacity is rated at 3046 mAh, and the iPhone 11 Pro is slightly larger with 3190 mAh. Add OLED screens to that and you’re just objectively wrong
So I got an iPhone 11 Pro passed down to me and when i got it in January this year it was at 99% battery life, now today 22nd June its on 94% and it's starting to annoy me now. The phone heats up as I charge it but i turn it off when charging and dont use it. I use my PS5 to charge the phone through usb c- lightning cable.
Currently traveling in Thailand (a hot country, avg 32C + humidity) and my 14PM can go from 80-60% in just 20-30 min when outside in the sun, but if Im inside somewhere around 15-20C I can watch YT, Netflix or even play a game (survivor!.io in this case) for a total of 8-12h with only a loss of 20-30% battery.
